Okay, so I did [rather rashly and haphazardly] decide to enter 8 pieces in the spring show this year. My thought was more to show the directors what I was working on this semester, and I was hopeful that one or two of the better pieces would make it in? Yes, this sounded like a very good plan! UNTIL THIS MORNING, WHEN I DISCOVERED THAT ALL EIGHT OF THEM WERE ACCEPTED.

Aaaah, send help, a wee snake has found his way onto my desk lamp! This little guy is an intimidating 4 inches long and is a fully poseable needle felted sculpture [made possible with a twist of craft wire!]…he was actually supposed to be a rigid flower stem, but when that turned out a bit lumpy, I discovered it was actually a snake. A “happy accident” if ever there was one!
